Bees exist in all types of climates around the world, from forests in Europe to deserts in Africa, and even in the Arctic Circle. They are crucial to our environment as they play an important part in pollenating the 90% of flowering plant species that rely on bees.

In the past decade, beekeepers, primarily in the United States and Europe, have been reporting annual hive losses of 30 percent or higher. In fact, one in four wild bee species in the U.S. is at risk of extinction, and they need your help.

Most of the Florida Panhandle's natural forests and vegetation were wiped out by Hurricane Michael, destroying a habitat bees were reliant on. Any surviving vegetation in the region was left unable to produce blooms or nectar throughout that following winter and spring, leaving bees with little to nothing to eat. Recovery efforts are in full force.

Greater Good Charities' Project Peril is committed to saving ALL bee populations working with the best on-the-ground organizations to help plant bee-friendly forage and raise awareness on the importance of bees. We must do what we can to save the bee.

The magnificent bee is an integral part of our food system, and they need your help to get the proper nutrients they need to survive!

You can give the gift of survival to both bees and our planet.
